Another fake @molly0xfff is trying to be my friend on TikTok. I tried reporting the last one (molly0xffff) but apparently you can’t report impersonating accounts unless the account they’re impersonating is yours or verified.

A few years ago I launched a blog just using of Markdown files and a static site generator (https://lume.land). I loved it because it wasn’t WordPress and the site itself was clean, fast and simple.
But now I realize I overlooked something. My process basically made it impossible to post from anywhere besides my home computer.
Technically I don’t need a CMS. But practically, I do.
Had to debug a failing test yesterday that uses "tomorrow" as a birthday expecting a "no future date" error. But because the test’s “tomorrow” is based on the system date there’s ONE DAY A YEAR where “tomorrow” is in a different year which returns a “no future year” error instead. (The code checks year first because it’s more likely and efficient than same year future date.)
Obviously, I fixed it by adding the second error message as an acceptable response instead of a proper mock.

I’m back on my ADHD meds after being sick and completely forgot they let you see through time.
I was sick last week and had to skip my #ADHD meds because stacking stimulants and steroids is bad for your heart. This is my longest skip in years and I was scared I wouldn't feel like myself without them. In reality, I probably felt more "me" than I have in a while. The highs were higher, the lows were lower, but both felt natural. I don't regret taking my meds daily, but shorter skips don't often give me this perspective. A good reminder of who I am without them and why I chose to manage it.
I was doing some research when this insane clipping from the NYT caught my eye. Germany’s eugenics story is usually filed under Nazi history, but 1926-27 was still Weimar Germany, the constitutional republic before Hitler.
What shocked me the most was the tone. A city bureau offering free exams for a marriage “health certificate.” Nothing too scary on the surface, except for the hope it becomes obligatory.
A reminder that normal people will agree to monstrous things "for the greater good".

- Open a new AWS support case
- Support says I need to complete additional steps before my case can be processed
- Case is automatically closed because I didn’t finish my steps within 10 days
- When I have the additional steps done, I try to reopen the closed case, but it says I can’t
- Make a new case containing everything
- AWS Support closes my new case saying it’s a duplicate
I just built my first #MCP server! Coding with AI is fun and fast, but I constantly find myself copying and pasting the docs to keep it on track. The excellent Mac app #Dash (no affiliation) has been helpful for me to centralize docs in an offline way but now my local MCP server makes it possible for Claude, Copilot and Cursor to just grab the docs themselves. #ModelContextProtocol

Hilarious that Apple mentioned Freeform the app. Freeform (the TV channel) is so worthless even ABC stopped making original programming for it. The name is cursed. #WWDC25

I'm constantly amazed that Blankie is the only app in the U.S. #MacAppStore's Top 10 Free Health & Fitness apps without #InAppPurchases. Every other app either requires a subscription or has a freemium model. #OpenSource
I just noticed previously installed apps don't show the IAP label next to the download button. The app could have added IAPs since you first used it, but you'd wouldn't know unless you visit its page or use it.
My sense is Apple knows IAP labels deters users, but why give old apps an advantage?
