As an AuADHD person, I've always struggled to explain how my brain, thinking and style of approaching things works (I would say its definitely relatively systematic anf approaching from first principles, but there is also a lot "weirdness" and "randomess" to it), but your explanation is pretty crisp and I can relate with it a lot.

Great example of why AIs and algorithmic decisions are bad. Instagram misclassified my dog photo as nudidity and sexual activity. I appealed the decision and they removed my photo as not meeting the guidelines. The photos and the appeal was obviously not reviewed by a human. Great example on why we should push for more transparency, open AI models (including training data) and push again monopoly from corporations like meta. Same reason why EU chat control proposal is so bad and dangerous.
@ed tbh, i would argue that today the distinction is more important than ever. especially now that foundations based around open source like LF try to blur the lines between for (members) profit trade union like foundations vs real 501c3 non profits like ASF
Been fully car free for 2 months now and it has been great (not that I used the car all the often when I still had one).

Pred leti pri nas na vasi je bilo enako, ko so manjse parkisice spremenili v trg so se vsi pritozevali in bili proti, ker sedaj vec ne bodo morali parkirati direktno zraven frizerja, ipd. novo vecje javno parkirisce pa je manj kot 60m stran. Razvajene riti + prevlki dependency na avte. fuj.
