Mozilla has recently made efforts to revitalize the Firefox project. The free, independent browser is expected to undergo significant changes over the next few months, and the company is now sharing some of the ideas its developers are working on.

ต้นตอของสิ่งนี้เกิดจากร่างกายหลั่งอะดรินาลีนเยอะเกิน (ปัจจุบันก็ยังเยอะและเป็นต้นเหตุที่ทีแรกความดันไม่ลง) ตอนเด็กๆ มีเหตุการณ์ที่ร่างกายหลั่งอะดรินาลีนเนอะเกิน ทำผิดทำพลาด ขี้หลงขี้ลืมก็จะโดนดุว่าไม่มีสติ การพยายามมีสติไม่ให้โดนดุก็เข้า survival mode แถมต้องอ่านอารมณ์คนตลอด ไปโรงเรียนกลัวครูก็เปิด survival mode อีก หลั่งอะดรินาลีนแทบตลอดเวลา

คือเรื่องนี่จะเป็นเรื่องที่ผมว่าจะเขียนเรียบเรียงดีๆ แต่ว่าคนไทยเข้าใจหลายคำในผังเมืองผิด หรือแม้แต่คำว่าผังเมืองเองที่พอแปลไทยแล้วเพี้ยน (แบบเดียวกับที่ street/road ภาษาไทยเหมารวมเป็นถนน)
รวมๆ แบบรีบๆ
1. ถ้าคุณหมายถึงการจัดวางของเครือข่ายถนน นั้นคือ street network /urban morphology ในเพจนี้หรือมีเดียมน่าจะเตยพูดถึงงานของ Geoff Boeing, Stephen Marshall แนะนำตามอ่านได้ หรืออ่าน Graph Theory ก็ได้เพราะมันก็ดึงคณิตศาสตร์มาอีกที

4. ทั้งนี้ไม่ได้แปลว่าอ.ชัชาติผิด คือพื้นที่ราว 1 ตารางกิโลเมตร มีนัยยะ ที่จริงอะคนไทยเคยมีการแชร์คำว่า superblock ที่เป็นไอเดียบาเซโลน่าไปผิดๆ แต่ถ้าหมายถึงว่าจะแบ่งในแง่การจัดการทรัพยากร แบ่งตาม population จะดีกว่า area
5. ถ้าอยากแคร์แค่เรื่องจราจรรถ ผมก็ยังยืนยัน นอนยัน ว่า metric ที่เราตกม้าตายที่สุด คือ intersection density หรือ link-to-node ที่มีผลต่อความปลอดภัยด้วยไม่ใช่แต่เรื่องจราจร

2. ถ้านั่นคือคำ "ผังเมือง" คือข้อ1 ระวังคนสับสนกับ urban planning/ land use ตรงไหนทาสีอะไรยังไง
3. คำว่า block นี่ก็ต้องระวัง คนไปคิดว่า block คือตีสี่เหลี่ยม ไม่ใช่ ไม่เกี่ยวกับสี่เหลี่ยม เมืองไม่จำเป็นต้องมี street network สี่เหลี่ยม ไม่งั้นเมืองในยุโรปมันไม่ฟังชั่นกันไปแล้ว คือความหมายที่อ.ชัชชาติสท่อคิดแบบไหนไม่รู้ แต่เรื่องการแบ่งพื้นที่ชุมชนตาม accessibility ตาม 15 นาทีโดยไม่พึ่งพารถยนต์นี่มีการศึกษามาตลอดในวง transport มันไม่เกี่ยวอะไรกับสี่เหลี่ยม แต่ว่าเป็นความเชื่อมโยงชุมชน
