been making a single-page app with https://pocketbase.io/ this week and it's been a nice experience. I like making single-page JS apps with a Go backend API and this means that I don't have to write the Go backend.
Really impressive project given that it's built by one person in their spare time.

In short, I don’t believe that forcing a site into your current mode gets to be dependent on the time of the day.
The two-state approach in the post has this problem when the OS is set to auto-change from light to dark based on the time of the day.
